Protein Pudding: A Power-Packed Sweet Treat

If you’re like me and have something of a sweet tooth, you can find it frustrating to maintain a lean diet or prep for a competition—especially when it comes to satisfying those cravings for sweets!

Over the years I’ve concocted a yummy alternative that not only satisfies your urge for treats but also throws in a punch of protein.

You will need three ingredients: your favorite chocolate or vanilla protein powder, sliced almonds and a single serving of plain instant oatmeal.

Pour two scoops of the protein powder into a dessert bowl.

Add a very small amount of water, and mix until you achieve a thick pudding consistency.

Lightly stir in 1/4 of the oatmeal.

Dust the top of the pudding with a tablespoon of sliced almonds.

BAM! You have a very high-powdered, low-carb, good-fats, protein-packed treat. Trust me, it will calm the nerves and cut the cravings!

Each serving contains: calories, 240; protein, 40 grams; carb, 8 grams; fat, 5 grams.
