Finally, my backstage interview with ’09 NPC Masters National champ and brand new figure pro Marie Ann Newman has come to light. Mo, as she’s called, scored a string of nine top-five finishes, notably a class victory at the North Americans last fall, before earning her card with D-class and overall wins at the Masters, which was held July 17 and 18 in Pittsburgh.
She’s now saying she’ll make her debut at the Atlantic City Pro on September 11 and 12.
