New Citrus Blast


MetraGeniX, maker of the award-winning 2:1 protein bars, has added energy to protein with the introduction of its first 2:1 energy bar, Citrus Blast.

Providing 30 grams of high-quality protein, the new bar is loaded with a proprietary blend of caffeine, ginseng and vitamin B12. It’s a spectacular source of preworkout energy, boosting your body through a kick-ass workout. The slow release of caffeine extends through your workout, sustaining your energy and enabling you to get the most from your time in the gym.

Citrus Blast is the first 2:1 bar to include caffeine. It has a cool, refreshing taste reminiscent of key lime pie—but only 240 calories. In addition to 30 grams of quality protein, it contains only 15 grams of carbohydrates, with only four grams of sugar.

MetraGeniX developed the 2:1 line to reflect the optimal ratio of protein to carbohydrates for building muscle while maintaining or losing weight.
