How big a coincidence is it that the bikini winner as well as the women’s physique winner at the NPC Junior National Championships, held in Chicago on June 17 and 18, are cops? A huge one, right? Yet that’s exactly what happened when Jennifer Robinson took the physique title and then India Paulino, an ebbullient officer from Fort Lauderdale, Florida, won the bikini B-class and overall after a brisk season of charming the judges at key contests back east.
At 5’ 2 1/2” Paulino comes armed with a petite-but-powerful package of sass, and she planned to jump right into the Pro Bodybuilding Weekly Bikini competition in Tampa, Florida, this weekend. In Chicago she headed a lineup of 107 contenders in six classes, with three of the other class winners joining her in the pros: Diane Graham, Tiffany Boydston and Cristina Vujnich.
