(Los Angeles, CA) – For the first time, The Ultimate Arm Wrestling League brings the UAL Qualifier II Double Elimination Tournament and UAL II Super Matches to California’s largest health and fitness event, The Bodybuilding.com Los Angeles Fitness Expo presented by Subway Restaurants, Saturday and Sunday, January 29-30, at the Los Angeles Convention Center, 1201 South Figueroa Street, West Halls A/B.
"The UAL grants commercial appeal and professional status to the sport, which has become very popular in the US, and we’re honored to host these warriors on the Expo floor," said The Los Angeles Fitness Expo Executive Director Erin Ferries. Thousands will be on hand to witness the best talent in the sport, including the highly-decorated Allen Fisher, and arguably the best North American arm wrestler of all time, John Brzenk.
The Double Elimination Tournament will include amateur and professional divisions, with contestants divided into Left Arm, and Right Arm, over 5 weight classes. Cash Prizes and a UAL II Medal will be given to the 1st through 4th place contestants in all Men Pro Classes and a UAL II Medal will be given to the Amateur 1st through 3rd place contestants.
In The Super Matches, the top 4 pullers will pull the best out of 3 in each weight class to determine the champion (By Invitation only).
Weight Classes for the events include Light Weight (0-155 lbs), Middle Weight (155-175 lbs), Light Heavyweight (176-200 lbs), Heavyweight Pro (201-232 lbs) and Super Heavyweight Pro (233-350 lbs). Ladies Open Right Hand: all ages and weights.
