You know that bread is high in carbs. Then there’s the gluten thing—most people have some type of allergic reaction to it, and some progress into full-blown celiac disease.
Well, here’s another reason to limit the bread in your diet: sodium.
According to the May ’12 Bottom Line Health, a new study looked at the diets of 7,227 American adults and children and found that “bread was the biggest contributor to sodium intake.”
