Well-developed abdominals are not only impressive but sexy, according to magazine surveys. Here are a few tips to help you get that sexy look. If you eat late, eat light. In the daytime you can burn off the calories because you're more active. But for supper stick to lighter dishes like salads and clear broth or a grain dish.
Look at your abs in the mirror every day. It might be hard to do at first, but do it. If you think that the mirror is your enemy, it is because you eat too much. Cut back on the junk food and increase your work output during your training. Results in abdominal definition come rapidly when you're on a good diet, so the constant checking yourself in the mirror will make you more enthusiastic to eat and train right to achieve your goal. Think raw when it comes to food. Get rid of all the junk food in your house. It's a temptation you don't need. Keep a jar full of raw cucumber, celery and carrot sticks in the refrigerator. Reach for the jar when you get the urge to snack. For sweet snacks keep a good supply of cherries, grapes or strawberries on hand, then pop a couple in your mouth when you're really desperate.
When you eat in restaurants, keep it simple. Choose lean meat, chicken, fish or liver, one cooked vegetable and a large salad'period. Nothing else, no breads, dessert, juice or soup.
