Amazing Mass With Class

I know I’m probably not the first to write in about your last cover [March ’12], but holy ripped to the bone! Lee Labrada has still got it at 51. What a freaking inspiration he is. L.T.’s interview was great, and Lee’s training and diet don’t sound too intimidating, even to me at 59. I think I’ve found my new role model. He truly is Mass With Class. And his son [Hunter] looks as if he may have more potential than his dad. Let’s see a story on him.

Best Size-Building Method

I thoroughly enjoyed Doug Brignole’s article on his latest workouts [“The Best Muscle-Building Method I Forgot I Knew,” March ’12]. I’ve been using the 4X system for a few months and have made my best gains in years. I was shocked that I could do that with lighter weights. Doug’s take has given me a way to vary it to build even more size. I don’t do all of the drop sets he does, but I will do it on one or two sets in a 4X sequence. It seems to be working like gangbusters. My pumps have been outstanding.

Excellent Expo

I live in the Los Angeles area, but I had never attended the annual Fit Expo until this year. What an incredible event. My son is into MMA and Ultimate Fighting, and I’m into bodybuilding and health, so it was a win-win for us to go together and experience it for the first time. I was completely blown away by all the exhibits, free stuff and seminars. And the great bodies walking around were very motivating. Thanks for putting it on. I’ll be back next year.

Brunette Bombshell

I usually go for blondes, but there is something about Amrit Dhaliwal [Hardbody, March ’12] that hit me between the eyes. Captivating! She has a certain gorgeousness (is that a word?) that is hypnotic. She could easily be a movie star—and I’d volunteer to be her leading man. (Lol) If you ever do encores on your Hardbody models, I vote for Amrit.
