Fresh off his NY Pro win just 3 weeks ago, IFBB pro Jose Raymond has officially joined Team MHP, effective June 20th. The formidable bodybuilder is one of the top 202 lb. pro competitors in the IFBB, having won 3 pro victories over the past 12 months. He also was a 3-time NPC National Champion and Team Universe winner as an amateur competitor.
"We are happy to welcome Jose to the MHP family," says MHP President Gerard Dente. "He is a very talented bodybuilder and well respected in the industry. He’s a perfect fit for Team MHP."
Now in his 19th year of competition, Jose is the most decorated amateur bodybuilder in NPC history. Aside from his National and Team U titles, he also won the USA Championships 3 times. He actually won his IFBB pro card four times before leaving the amateur ranks. The 5’5", 210-pounder is one of the most popular bodybuilders on the pro circuit and is co-host of the Pro Muscle internet radio show each Sunday.
"I am thrilled to be part of Team MHP," says Jose. "MHP is on the cutting edge of sports supplements. Being a part of such an innovative brand is a great opportunity and I’m looking forward to growing as a bodybuilder, as well as helping MHP grow in every way possible."
Jose is now gearing up for the Mr. Olympia in September. Watch for more news, training videos and other information about Jose coming soon on the MHP website and Facebook page.
