Dairy and the Dentist

You may have heard that a lack of plaque on your teeth is better for your cardiovascular health. The recommendation is to brush and floss regularly. New research out of Japan says that eating dairy products like yogurt and cheese can help too. A specific acid in those foods controls the growth of  the bad bacteria that contribute to plaque accumulation, which can lead to gum disease.
