Back Breakers

When it comes to complaining about pain, most folks put their aching back at the top of the list. Often they think that maybe they slept wrong or twisted funny when picking something up, but it could well be a cumulative thing from sitting and walking in misalignment thanks to their wallets or purses. Men’s wallets in their back pockets can press on nerves, causing them to sit crooked. Women who carry heavy purses over one shoulder walk around with their torsos twisted. If your back often hurts, you may want to rethink where you put your valuables—or at least frequently switch pockets if you carry a wallet or switch sides if you carry a heavy purse.
