Just got some recent pics from Brian Yersky, and the 5’10”, 245-pounder from Erie, PA is lookin’ real sharp 9 days out from the USA. Yersky is one of the hardest working dudes in the industry, and has slowly, but surely, been improving his physique each year. Need an example? Okay, in 2006 he placed 13th in the Super-Heavyweight class at the Junior Nationals. He finished 10 places higher last season. Oh, he won his class at the Junior Cal in 2007…yeah, came all the way out to my show, which has since graduated to the West Coast Classic.
Last year Brian finished 8th in his division at the USA, and he also added a 5th place finish at the North American Championships in addition to his strong placing at the Juniors. “I feel I’m going to be real competitive as I’m striving to be the most conditioned and aesthetically pleasing product yet in my career,” says Yersky . “As long as I’m in the first call-out, I will consider that a success, but we (Brian and his trainer, George “Bulletproof” Farah) are going to win. I’m 12 pounds heavier this year, and I can’t wait to step on stage on the 30th.”
