Floss for More Muscle?

Laziness precludes many people from flossing before bed, but what if it helped you build more muscle? Well, it can, indirectly.

According to the May ’11 Health, if you don’t floss regularly before bed, your gums can become inflamed. That causes health-damaging bacteria to head right into your bloodstream, setting off inflammation throughout your body, so your body has to fight the inflammation and has less energy and recovery capacity to heal and grow muscle.

Inflammation from not flossing has also been shown to affect brain function. So to be healthier, focus better and become more muscular, floss regularly.
