A Good Mood(y) for Kiyoshi at TU?

765rb0966 765rb1021Let’s cut to the chase–the Swami sez it will be Kiyoshi Moody taking Overall honors at the Team Universe this weekend in New York. Why? Well, the 5’10”, 198-pounder from San Diego, California won my Junior Cal last season, okay? Need more reasons? Probably so. Okay, he then went on to win the Light Heavyweight class at the TU before battling eventual Overall champion Chris Faildo for top honors at the Steve Weinberger promoted event.
765rb0948 765rb0879But, it won’t be easy for Ki, especially if Shiloe Steinmetz comes back to the show. Shiloe (When I Was Young) topped the Heavyweight division last year, and is coming off a seventh place finish at the North American Championships last weekend in Cleveland, Ohio.
I like Jeff Rodriguez in the Middleweight class, although last year’s champ, Alan Bailey, has to be considered the fave in the division if he returns. And, of course, I have to go with the Texas Shredder, Dave Goodin, in the Welterweight class if the IRON MAN author steps on stage this weekend.
Ruthless Ruth Silverman and Rollin’ Roland Balik will be on tap for us to give compete coverage of the big weekend; make sure to check out Ruth’s reports and Roland’s pictures when the show is over.
