The Muscle Beach Venice 4th Annual Toy Drive was held on Saturday and Sunday, December 11 & 12, 2010 at the Venice Recreation Center.
The Toy Drive Sponsored by Joe Wheatley Productions and Bodybuilding.com in conjunction with the City of Los Angeles Recreation and Parks and the LAPD Pacific Division is dedicated to providing new toys to needy children in the Venice area.
A record number of toys were collected which will be distributed to needy children by the LAPD Pacific Division. Toy Drive T-shirts provided by a generous donation from Bodybuilding.com were distributed both days – the t-shirts were a HUGE hit!!!
A Christmas music concert took place on the “Weight Pen” stage provided by Flight 2Da Light.
On Sunday, December 12, 2010, Santa arrived in his sled to the cheers of the crowd. He greeted the kids, listened to Christmas requests and took pictures with the families.
