Cormier Brightest Star of ’02, Takes Australian Grand Prix
Chris Cormier nabbed his third first-place trophy of 2002 when he won the Australian Grand Prix, which was held on March 16 in Melbourne. Cormier’s victory followed wins at the IRONMAN Pro Invitational, which opened the new season last month, and the Austrian Grand Prix, which was held last week.
Additionally, the 5’11’, 255-pounder placed second at both the Arnold Schwarzenegger Classic (won by Jay Cutler) and the San Francisco Pro Grand Prix (won by Lee Priest).
