Slow-mo to Grow?


There is little reason to train explosively or try to use huge weights that are beyond your control. It’s not the way to improve.

You should be able to activate muscle fibers throughout the full range of movement. Watch people train using a typical one/one cadence and you’ll see tremendous acceleration at the start of the rep’with mostly momentum moving the resistance through the rest of the range. They miss doing a smooth movement through a full range of motion and, hence, undermine the effectiveness of the ultimate building block of any resistance-training routine. IM
