? I am a current subscriber. How do I obtain a password?

Click on LOGIN at the top navigation. You can login using several different methods including your Order Number. You will find you Order Number on your renewal or billing notice (enter all the numbers to the left of the dash.) After you login, you will see an account summary of your subscription and a link to Change Password. If you have trouble logging in, you can use our Contact Form to send us an email. Please include your full mailing address. Submit the form and you will be emailed a password within 1 business day to the email address you provided when you subscribed.

? Will I get a password instantly?

If you subscribed online, you will choose your own a password. If you are an existing subscriber who has never had access before or if we do not have your email on file, please use our Contact Form to tell us to activate your account. Please provide a password (minimum 5 alphanumeric characters, no spaces). Normally it will take 1-2 business days to verify your account and confirm your access. You will be notified by email once your account has been activated.

? Where do I login?

To access Iron Man web site content, go to the navigation menu at the top of any page on the Iron Man web site and click on Login on the far right. You can login using several different methods including your Order Number. You will find you Order Number on your renewal or billing notice (enter all the numbers to the left of the dash.) After you login, you will see an account summary of your subscription and a link to Change Password. If you have trouble logging in, you can use our Contact Form to send us an email. Please include your full mailing address. Submit the form and you will be emailed a password within 1 business day to the email address you provided when you subscribed. Once you are logged in, you should see the words Subscribe Home Page at the top and now you will be able to access all the subscriber benefits such as Archive (articles) and Downloads.

? How do I change my password?

Go to Login, click on the link on the left side of the page or go here. Login with your old password. On the account summary page, click on Change Password. Re-enter your old password and choose a new password. Or you may use our contact page to send us an email to change it for you. Please provide a password (minimum 5 alphanumeric characters, no spaces).

? How come my username and password do not work?

If you experience any difficulty accessing the subscriber section, please use the Firefox browser first. In addition, check your browser settings and make sure you have third-party cookies and session cookies enabled. When entering your user/password, careful of typos such as extra digits or spaces in your password. Passwords are case-sensitive, meaning "ABC" is not the same as "abc." You may need to clear cookies/cache and restart your browser. In some cases, you may need to consult with your network administrator to determine whether certain security firewalls are blocking your access. If you are still unable to login, please contact us here and include as much information as possible, when the problem first occured and the URL of the page you were trying to access.

? How come I can't see the login menu?

Each time you login to the subscriber section, you must log off before you shut down your browser. If you do not log off, you will not see a login menu since the system recognizes you as being logged on. You can log out by clicking on the Logout link located on the Subscriber Home Page.

? How do I find an article online?

First, make sure you are logged in. If you are, you should see the Subscriber Home Page when you click on the Login button at the top. If you are logged in, click on the Archive button in the header navigation or on the Archive link on the Subscriber Home Page. You will be taken to the most recent issue. Click on any title to read that article. You may select alternate cover dates by using the dropdown bar at the top of the page. If you do not know the issue, you can try searching by author or title.

? Where are E-books located?

You can access the Subscriber Home Page by clicking on the Login link in the header navigation. If you are logged in, you see a link for the Downloads section in the menu.

? How do I download E-books?

After you login, go to the Subscriber Home page and click on Downloads. Follow the instructions onscreen. Clicking on a title or book cover will take you to the ebook's main page where you can choose, if applicable, whether to download chapters or the entire book at once. Pay attention to the file size and make sure you have Acrobat Reader to open the ebook. If you clicked on the Download This file link on those pages, it will download the PDF book to your browser. In order to view it offline, you must download it from the main book page and have Acrobat Reader installed. You'll know you've downloaded it when your computer asks you where you want to save/name it (unless you've configured your system to do otherwise). There are many variations on this depending on your system. That is why it is impossible to keep a FAQ short and relevant to everyone. Please understand that due to the number of configuration possibilities, we do not provide technical support for all inquiries.

? Why aren't all back issues available online?

The addition of back issues is based on reader feedback. If there is an article you're interested in that is not online, please feel free to email us at webmaster@ironmanmagazine.com and let us know. We will do our best to add it as soon as we can. We will continue to improve the archive so please check back with us often.
