Pimples can be a problem for adults as well as teens, and one of the major causes appears to be the stress hormone cortisol.

HIgh stress triggers the hormone that causes the sebaceous glands in pores to pour out more oil—and that means zits.

Managing stress through meditation and exercise is important. Cortisol-control supplements like phosphatidylserine may help as well.
