Tuna That’s Wildly Different

Bodybuilders, when they are dieting, usually eat a lot of tuna. That can be a problem because of toxic heavy metals like mercury in the fish. Now there’s Wild Planet’s Wild Skipjack Light Tuna, a low-mercury species caught in pristine waters that has exceptional flavor and a firm texture. It’s also cooked only once in the can to retain extraordinary taste and its valuable omega-3 benefits. Plus, it’s packed in BPA-free five-ounce pull-top cans.

“We believe our Wild Albacore is helping tuna make a comeback,” says Wild Planet Foods’ CEO Terry Hunt. “For consumers who are wary of buying tuna due to its bland taste and concern over mercury levels, Wild Planet Albacore offers an exceptional tasting, eco-conscious and a more healthful alternative in a category long dominated by three behemoth brands.”

Wild Planet products are sold at natural-food and select traditional grocery stores nationwide as well as at www.wildplanetfoods.com.
