Tea Off on Joint Pain

Alleviate joint inflammation with tea.

You probably know that vitamin C helps build collagen, which strengthens joints, tendons and ligaments. You may also have heard that glucosamine, after a few weeks of taking about 1,500 milligrams a day, can relieve joint pain (recent research shows that it doesn’t need to be paired with chondroitin to be effective), but did you know that green or black tea can help too? Both contain polyphenols, which help alleviate joint inflammation. If you can’t drink two to three cups a day, try supplements.
