Is Organic Best?

Antioxidants in organic fruits and vegetables.

A research study from Great Britain says yes. Produce grown on organic farms was compared to that grown conventionally, and the organic fruits and vegetables contained up to 40 percent more antioxidants. Scientists also found that cows raised in an organic environment gave milk that had up to 80 percent more healthful nutrients than factory-farmed cows (Prevention, May ’08).
