Do You Need More Acid?


Stomach acid is not the villain that TV commercials and pharmaceutical companies would have you believe. In fact, the hydrochloric acid secreted by the lining of the stomach kills harmful bacteria and parasites, helps you absorb vital minerals and is a critical component of protein digestion.

It’s hard to believe that the holistic remedy for acid reflux is often taking a hydrochloric acid supplement. That’s right, you may actually need more acid—not less.

Couple that with smaller protein feedings, overall meal-size moderation and drinking aloe vera between meals, and you are more than likely to see your reflux improve as your protein utilization becomes more efficient.
