According to the November ’10 Better Nutrition, conjugated linoleic acid, a good trans fat found in dairy products and meat, can ease asthma symptoms. In a University of British Columbia study, researchers compared CLA to a placebo. Subjects who got 4.5 grams of CLA a day for 12 weeks had fewer symptoms than those who got the placebo. Bonus: The CLA users also lost bodyfat.
