Dennis Cieri, the CEO and Founder of SSP Nutrition, has been a top name in the drug tested, raw and single ply shirt competition bench world for years. At the 6th Annual IPF / NAPF Powerlifting Championship, Cieri broke the 205lb division raw & drug tested record with an astounding 507 pound push.
The AAU was the first governing body to sanction the sport of powerlifting on a national level (1964) and Dennis has made his mark in that league as well, hitting 518lbs @ 212 under raw and drug tested conditions.
The teaming up of SSP Nutrition with The Hardcore Powerlifting Federation couldn’t have come at a more appropriate time. This is the first time one of our pro shows are taking place in conjunction with The 100% RAW Powerlifting Federation’s Drug Tested World Championship. This combination of events makes it easy for powerlifters and powerlifting fans to pick the “Must See Powerlifting Show of The Fall Season.” There will be three full days of world class, drug tested, amateur lifting capped off by our Hardcore Powerlifting sanctioned (also raw, but professional and not involving drug testing) BOAD’s Kings of the Bench $7,000 Invitational. Dennis Cieri’s also put himself at the top of the ladder in The 100% RAW Powerlifting Federation as well, benching an amazing 529 pounds @ 198lbs of body weight and in the 40-44 year old masters division! This shows that Cieri’s both a top competitor in the 100% RAW Powerlifting Federation AND a sponsor of Hardcore Powerlifting efforts to develop the professional wing of the game.

Dennis lifts in the USAPL, IPF, 100% RAW, AAU organizations and he won both the 2004 and 2005 BenchAmerica drug tested pro championships in Chicago (which is where I first got to see him compete, as I was the 3rd man in the broadcast team the first time around and the technical analyst for BA3.)
