As the promoter of the bodybuilding and figure events at Muscle Beach Venice I am aware of the keen interest of the international and out-of-state visitors. Always on the lookout for the celebrity bodybuilders on Sunday, June 24, 2007, our visitors’ dreams came true.
Jay Cutler, current Mr. Olympia, made his championship presence known at Muscle Beach with a two hour workout. Jay’s demonstration of his workout routine along with his friendly presence, willingness to interact, answer questions and take pictures with the audience put the Weight Pen at the Venice Recreation Center into a near frenzy.
It was standing room only as Jay went on stage at Muscle Beach at Sunday’s demonstration event and pulled an impressive front double bicep to cheers and roars from the crowd.
It was an honor to have Jay at Muscle Beach. He is a true advocate of bodybuilding, a great competitor and a charismatic individual. We wish him all the best in his future endeavors.
