Shoulders and arms with Katie and Brenda


Well, it’s been a difficult week since my surgery. I’ve gone through some personal struggles that nobody deserves…..I just can’t go into that, but trust me….it’s terrible and has nothing to do with my physical injury.

But, one thing that’s constant is that when you get into the gym and start pumping the iron your muscles start stretching and flexing. The blood rushes in and the vascularity pops up revealing the road maps from years of training. And, before you know it, you begin to feel that there is still order to the world. At least to the world that you control. That’s your training and your diet…..how you attack the weights, how far you push yourself past the burn…. It feels good! And, no matter what else is going on you feel better for a while. Especially if you have smoking hot training partners like Katie and Brenda! They’re gorgeous and they’re funny, and most importantly they’re there for me and they got my back. It was so much fun to get to spend the workout with them today. Despite the fact that we had to use too many machines (because training standing on one leg feels horrible) we got a great workout and had a fantastic time doing it.

Brenda, by the way, will be competing in the NPC Capital of Texas Roundup next week.  She is looking incredible and is going to be very difficult to beat!

Shoulder press machine 5 sets 12-20 reps

seated (for me) DB Lateral raise 5 sets 12-15 reps

Machine rear delt flys 5 sets 12-15 reps

Seated db tricep ext 5 sets 15-20 reps

Tricep pressdowns 4 sets 12-15 reps

Seated DB curls 5 sets 10-12 reps

Machine preacher curls 4 sets 8-12 reps.
